Course Charentes maritimes - Oléron (17) from 14th to 19th of september 2025

Ideally based during our course on the West Ocean coast, we'll take our brushes to oyster huts, salt marshes and traditional fishermen's carrelets... This region remains one of the most beautiful in terms of colour, light and varied landscapes, which we'll capture with our watercolour brushes.
From La Tremblade to Mornac-sur-Seudre, via Cordouan and the long, turquoise ocean beaches, we'll let these landscapes reveal their many facets to us... and it's here, in these peaceful places rested from summer activities, that we'll use our best colour palettes to paint this radiant beauty, this little haven of peace in the middle of September, when the Indian summer is still here for the last swims of the season.

Discovering water, learning to manage it, letting it flow, with real wet-on-wet work.
Learn how to mix colours, get to know your palette and make the most of it to achieve luminous, transparent shades and tints.
Fluide et dynamique
An approach to light, fluid yet dynamic watercolours, shadows and light, how to capture contrasts, learning how to create a balanced composition, making a success of your watercolour with a good rough sketch…
These are just some of the parameters needed to produce a beautiful, transparent and harmonious watercolour.
Capturing beauty
During this watercolour course in Provence, you’ll learn how to approach and capture the beauty of a landscape, to capture the emotion of a place, its smells and its colours.
This is what we will be learning throughout this course, which is designed to be friendly and welcoming, where everyone can express themselves at their own pace, at their own level, and with respect for everyone else.

There is no full board for this innovative concept, but our hosts will welcome us each morning with a delicious breakfast of pastries and local dishes, and leave us free to look after our own meals and our own comings and goings as part of our watercolour course.
Its large swimming pool will give you the pleasure of lounging around after your busy day of watercolour painting!
