WATERCOLOUR WORKSHOPS
Meeting of
wet on wet technique
In my paintings as well as in my workshops, I use the wet-on-wet watercolor technique, as I prefer the fluidity and lightness it brings…
Thanks to water, we achieve an incomparable blending of colors and interplay of pigments. It is water, then, that takes us on this journey; it allows the white to speak and, through it, brings the artwork to life. It makes the canvas come alive and inspires those who view it to dream.
In watercolor, each element is united within the whole. We work on each element individually so that they merge and create the whole, the unified whole, allowing the artwork to come to life in the painter’s hands.

Aquitaine in its heartland
MAY-JULY-AUGUST 2027
3 Sessions :
17>20 May 2027
12>15 July 2027
09>12 August 2027
MIXED-GENDER WORKSHOP: Studio and outdoor sessions.
In the heart of Lot-et-Garonne, in my studio, we’ll explore the magic of watercolor and wet-on-wet painting through seasonal fruits, bouquets, and various arrangements.
Then, we’ll paint outdoors, wandering through the bastides or sunflower fields.
Accommodations are not included.

BASSIN D'ARCACHON
30 MAY>04 JUNE 2027
In the heart of the Arcachon Basin, between the charming oyster-farming port of Cassy and the unspoiled landscapes of the Certes and Graveyron Nature Reserve—a true sanctuary for birds—Lanton offers us a rare setting where nature, light, and the tides come together to create a constantly changing spectacle. We’ll capture the beauty of the basin, its vibrant colors, and breathe in the sea spray to recharge our spirits…
Accommodations at a 2-star hotel, full board.

PROVENCE
13>18 JUNE 2027
Under the generous Provençal sun, the light plays with the ochre hues of the old stones, the silvery greens of the olive trees, and the mauve blues of the lavender fields. We’ll set out to explore these sun-drenched landscapes, where shadows dance, colors vibrate, and every moment seems to invite us to paint. A luminous getaway in the heart of the South, to soak up its gentle way of life and capture all its poetry through our watercolors.
Accommodations in bed-and-breakfasts, with full board.

BRITTANY
27 JUNE>02 JULY 2027
Painting the sea, the sky, and the shifting light of the Gulf of Morbihan, using the fluidity of wet-on-wet technique—a true moment of joy…
A sailboat in the distance, small boats at low tide…..an unforgettable experience…but also Brittany and its countryside, its beautiful granite rocks, and its blooming hydrangeas…
A workshop to explore the transparency, the blending of colors, and the gentle beauty of the Breton landscapes. You’re in for a treat!
Accommodations in bed-and-breakfasts, full board

MARENNES-OLERON
12>17 SEPT 2027
Nestled between land and sea, the island of Oléron reveals a palette of light and color that inspires watercolor painting. From wild beaches to colorful huts, from charming harbors to ocean horizons, we’ll let ourselves be carried away by the winds, the tides, and the shifting reflections of the Atlantic.
A bright, seaside workshop to explore watercolor painting to the rhythm of the ocean and let your creativity flow.
Accommodations in bed-and-breakfasts, breakfast included.

Therapy by Art
06>09 May 2027
Blending art and inner exploration, this workshop creates a space where creativity becomes an invitation to reconnect with oneself. Through shapes, colors, and movements, each participant is free to explore their imagination, embrace their emotions, and allow whatever seeks expression to emerge.
A time to slow down, let go, and reconnect with your creative energy, in a supportive environment where intuition guides your actions and where each creation becomes a unique experience.
Accommodations not included.

Oil painting workshop
16-17-18 JULY 2027
In the heart of the Greater Southwest, in my studio in Lot-et-Garonne, we’ll explore oil painting, its textures, its deep colors, and its play of light. Inspired by medieval bastides, stone and half-timbered villages, fields of sunflowers, and vibrant poppies, we’ll work with color and texture to bring our compositions to life. A creative retreat under the southwestern sun, combining discovery, experimentation, and the joy of painting.
Accommodations not included.

Teaching Method Corinne Vilcaz©
The process ?...
Evything is gonna be all right !
My experience showed me that students often feel ridiculous to be the beginners of the group…
That’s why I always work with small subgroups of a same level, helping them to progress freely in a total secure way amid other same level students…
No need to know how to draw !
Neither need to know how to draw, or to have participated to other practicing courses before you join the class. Your are enthousiastic, open learning mind and trusting, then let things fit and everything just feels right…
A personlized follow up
In my art classes, I’m trying to be as much attentive as possible to each one, helping me to catch each one’s difficulty, as well as each one’s significant propensity to develop…
Adapt myself to each one
Adapt myself as much to beginners who need my particular regard, as well as to advanced ones who need a larger autonomy, is how I use my long teaching experience to adapt myself with a long-time planned pedagogy.
Look no further
You're in the right place
A quick look at the reviews from the many interns over the years will confirm that you’ve just found the internship you’ve been searching for…
Hoist the sails, cast off, let the wind fill our sails, and set anchor… Far from our shores, close to our hearts… and then dip our pages, soak our brushes, and dive in! And there? Treasures of surprise and joy, laughter—we dive in, we get wet… Come on, hoist everything! Captain Corinne, high up in the mast, charts the course—she’s our compass! Thank you again and again...

« BivouAq’, TV7 Nouvelle Aquitaine’s flagship documentary series set up its camera right in the heart of my watercolor workshop in Oléron: a moment frozen in time, facing the salt marshes, bathed in the soft September light…
An unforgettable artistic immersion, open to anyone who wishes to join the next session and paint the island’s untamed beauty right there on the spot.”
