Imminent Departure for Prune country
In the heart of the South West of France, ideally situated in the centre of the Lot et Garonne (47), where it is the land of the prune, a medieval bastide dating from the 13th century, the town of Villeneuve sur Lot is the cradle of medieval villages with stone and half-timbered buildings, surrounded by fields of sunflowers and poppies, where sunshine and warmth punctuate the songs of cicadas and crickets.

This combined workshop and outdoor course will enable you to learn or confirm your wet-on-wet watercolour technique, both in the workshop to create seasonal floral or fruit subjects and ‘in situ’, in our beautiful surrounding countryside and half-timbered villages under real-life conditions...

Working with water
Discovering water, learning to manage it, letting it flow, with real wet-on-wet work.
Learn how to mix colours, get to know your palette and make the most of it to create luminous, transparent shades and tints.

Catch the beauty
During this watercolour course in Provence, you’ll learn how to approach and capture the beauty of a landscape, to capture the emotion of a place, its smells and its colours.
This is what we will be learning throughout this course, which is designed to be friendly and welcoming, where everyone can express themselves at their own pace, at their own level, and with respect for everyone else.
