Watercolour in Morocco
Tour of Fez-Meknes-Volubilis (Morocco)From 04 to 11 May 2026
Departure imminent in Morocco
Discover Fez, Meknes and Volubilis, Morocco's colourful gems with their unique atmospheres.
In Fez, the famous tanneries offer a striking spectacle: basins tinged with bright pigments, changing reflections and ancestral craftsmanship. The city also reveals a rich cultural and artistic heritage : a listed medina, refined architecture, calligraphy, music and living traditions.
Meknes, often referred to as ‘little Paris’ in reference to its architectural elegance and beauty as a former imperial city, and Volubilis, a Roman site with preserved mosaics, will take you through centuries of history.
And everywhere, Fez leather, a noble material crafted with expertise, embodies the blend of luxury and authenticity that makes this tour so charming.

Watercolour Travel Journal
A quick sketch, capturing the essence of the subject, capturing volumes and colours, and letting yourself be carried away by your inspiration.
The sketchbook becomes your companion: a sensitive way to capture the emotion of places, warm colours, architectural details, or even scenes from everyday life. Practical, it allows you to create superb watercolours, quickly but still respecting the rules of balance and accuracy that we will discuss together.
No need to know how to draw, I will guide you step by step in the construction of your sketch and your watercolour. Capture the shadows and light, use contrasts to create good effects, and you’re done !
The flow of water
Even in the context of a travel journal, where our water usage will be less than with traditional wet-on-wet watercolour painting, our water management remains essential. We will therefore set out to discover water, learn how to manage it, let it flow, with real wet-on-wet work, but on smaller surfaces.
Learning how to mix colours, knowing your palette and making the most of it to achieve luminous and transparent shades and hues.
During this watercolour course in Morocco, you will learn how to approach and capture the beauty of a landscape, how to convey the emotion of a place, its smells and colours.
This will be our focus throughout this friendly and welcoming course, where everyone can express themselves at their own pace, at their own level, and with respect for everyone else.
Expertly organised Tour
To allow you to devote yourself fully to painting and discovery, the entire trip is organised by an agency specialising in creative travel. Full board accommodation, travel in a comfortable minibus, guided tours, convivial moments over delicious meals… everything is designed to ensure you enjoy the experience in a relaxed manner, in a warm and inspiring atmosphere.
Whether you come alone or with someone else, enjoy a unique and unforgettable adventure !

Accomodation in Riad
Typical traditional Riad «At core of the Medina»
The riad (which means ‘garden’ in Arabic) represents, by its very nature, the foundation of Moroccan housing, heavily inspired by Arab-Andalusian architecture.
Often square in shape, located at the very centre of the home and surrounded by a traditional patio decorated with local ceramics, it brings freshness, peace and flourishing vegetation, like a small oasis within the living space itself.
We will be staying in one of these typical riads, in a complete change of scenery, to live at the Moroccan pace, in the very heart of the Medina of Fez.
All companions are welcome and can share all our trips and visits with us and enjoy their stay as a tourist without participating in the workshop activities...
