Exhibition Church ofSte Foy in Pujols 47

08 to 18 october 2026

Within the silence of its centuries-old walls, Sainte-Foy Church stands like a book of stone and colour. Where light dances with the pigments of the past, each fresco becomes a breath, a meditation on Life, Faith and Humanity. The Tree of Jesse, the Assumption, the figures of saints and martyrs are all voices of time that sing and whisper, reminding us that sacred art is poetry whispered to the soul.

Through the centuries, it is in 2026 that my works will humbly come to leave their gentle mark, for a few days, in the heart of this setting, where human memory and eternal forms meet.

It is an honour for me, to which I invite you...

In this serene and luminous setting, I will unveil some sixty new works—oils and watercolours—representing a creative journey where semi-figuration meets abstraction. Yes! The return of abstraction in my work will be the big surprise of this exhibition!

These pieces are intimate and full of surprises, inviting the viewer to explore a world of vivid colours and expressive compositions. From bold abstractions to nuanced semi-figurative pieces, the works play with light and colour in a way that echoes and enhances the sacred atmosphere of the church.

Découvrez Pujols et son église de Ste Foy

Un lieu Historique

Saint Georges terrasse le dragon en l'église Ste Foy de Pujols 47

Entering this church is like stepping into a world where art and the sacred intertwine. Saints and martyrs seem to emerge from the shadows, while light plays with the pigments, revealing stories that are both intimate and universal. It is a place where the visible and the invisible brush against each other, where time stretches and folds, where history is transformed into whispered poetry.

Thus, Pujols and Sainte-Foy, village and church, stone and colour, memory and light, invite visitors on a journey that is both sensory and spiritual, where each fresco becomes a mirror for the soul, and each stone a silent poem on the thread of time.

Eglise Ste Foy de Pujols 47

Listed as one of the ‘Most Beautiful Villages in France’, perched atop its rocky outcrop, Pujols unfurls its stone alleyways and half-timbered houses like a treasure trove of memories. The wind carries the echoes of centuries past, the whispers of passers-by from days gone by, and the light gently caresses the facades weathered by time.

In the heart of the village, the Sainte-Foy church, built in the early 16th century, stands like a beacon of serenity. Its solid, silent stone walls house ancient frescoes where colour and gesture tell the story of men and faith. Each figure, each detail painted directly onto the wall, is a suspended breath, a silent word from the past that speaks to our contemporary gaze.
